Amendment No. 1 was not offered. Amendment No. 2 was offered by Representatives Josephson, Wool, Kawasaki, and Tarr: Page 2, line 6: Delete "two-thirds of" Insert "three-fourths of" Representative Josephson moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 be adopted. Representative Stutes objected. Representative Millett rose to a point of order. The Speaker cautioned members to confine remarks to the amendment. Representative Stutes withdrew the objection. Representative Saddler objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 2 was adopted. 2017-04-10 House Journal Page 1014 The question being: "Shall CSHCR 1(STA) am pass the House?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHCR 1(STA) am Second Reading Final Passage YEAS: 21 NAYS: 19 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Claman, Drummond, Edgmon, Fansler, Foster, Gara, Grenn, Guttenberg, Josephson, Kawasaki, Kreiss-Tomkins, LeDoux, Ortiz, Parish, Seaton, Spohnholz, Stutes, Tarr, Tuck, Westlake, Wool Nays: Birch, Chenault, Eastman, Johnson, Johnston, Kito, Knopp, Kopp, Millett, Neuman, Pruitt, Rauscher, Reinbold, Saddler, Sullivan-Leonard, Talerico, Thompson, Tilton, Wilson And so, lacking the required 27 votes, CSHCR 1(STA) am failed to pass the House. CSHCR 1(STA) am (fld H) was referred to the Chief Clerk for engrossment.
